  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese can substitute with provolone
  • 1 cup Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese dollop instead of spreading
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Pepperoni adjust amount to preference
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey homemade by mixing honey with chili flakes
  • as needed Fresh Basil Leaves optional for garnish
  • as needed Red Pepper Flakes optional for extra heat

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to a 12-inch round with a ¼ inch thickness.
  3. Transfer rolled dough onto a parchment-lined pizza peel. Spread tomato sauce leaving a ½-inch border, then add mozzarella, pepperoni, and dollops of ricotta.
  4. Slide the assembled pizza onto the pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  5. Remove from oven, drizzle hot honey on top, and garnish with basil and red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For a crispy crust, pre-bake the pizza stone or baking sheet. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
