Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and use a hand mixer to beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar along with vanilla and almond extracts. Mix on low speed for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons of reserved cherry juice and stir gently to combine, until the dip adopts a pink hue.
  4. Gently fold in the Cool Whip using a rubber spatula until light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Mix in the chopped maraschino cherries and mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients, especially cream cheese and Cool Whip, are at the right temperature for the best texture. The dip can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance for enhanced flavor.
