Step-by-Step Instructions for Christmas Sausage Rolls
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare your workstation.
- Activate the stuffing mix by combining 75 ml of freshly boiled water with 40 g of stuffing mix and let it cool.
- Prepare the sausage filling by removing casings from sausages, then combine with the stuffing mix.
- Cut the puff pastry into two strips, about 10 cm wide.
- Spread the sausage mixture along the center of each pastry strip, leaving a 2 cm border, and drizzle with cranberry sauce.
- Fold each pastry strip over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork.
- Brush the surface of each roll with whisked egg and sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
- Bake the rolls on a lined baking tray for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
