Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, minced garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and lay them flat on a clean cutting board.
- Wrap each chicken thigh with two slices of bacon, securing them tightly around the meat.
- Place the bacon-wrapped chicken thighs on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving slight space between them.
- Brush half of the prepared glaze over the chicken thighs.
- Bake the chicken for 15 minutes.
- Brush the remaining glaze over the chicken thighs and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the bacon is crispy and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Marinate chicken thighs in the maple-garlic sauce for 1-2 hours before cooking for enhanced flavor. Consider using a wire rack for even crispiness.
