Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine pure maple syrup over medium-high heat and let it simmer until it begins to boil.
  3. Add the pumpkin pie spice and sea salt, then toss in the pecan halves and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes.
  4. Spread the nuts evenly onto the prepared baking sheet and allow to cool completely for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once cool, add in your dried cherries, dried apricots, and cinnamon chips, and gently toss everything together.
  6. Transfer your finished Maple Pumpkin Trail Mix to an airtight container.
