Ingredients
Method
Cook the Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Prepare the Noodles:
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
Combine and Finish:
- Once the noodles are cooked, stir in butter and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce is creamy and the butter is fully melted.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon some sauce over it. Heat for an additional 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
Serve and Garnish:
- Plate the chicken and noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Don’t Overcook the Chicken: Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to keep the chicken juicy.
- Stir the Noodles: Stir occasionally to prevent the noodles from sticking or clumping.
- Fresh Parmesan: Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
