Ingredients

Core Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Method

Cook the Chicken:
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Prepare the Noodles:
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
Combine and Finish:
  1. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in butter and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce is creamy and the butter is fully melted.
  2. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon some sauce over it. Heat for an additional 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
Serve and Garnish:
  1. Plate the chicken and noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don’t Overcook the Chicken: Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to keep the chicken juicy.
  • Stir the Noodles: Stir occasionally to prevent the noodles from sticking or clumping.
  • Fresh Parmesan: Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
