Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In your preheated skillet, add a splash of olive oil and a pat of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add sliced onions and diced apples. Sauté for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Nestle the bratwursts on top of the apple-onion mixture.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together beer, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Pour over bratwursts and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bring mixture to a gentle simmer on the stovetop.
  7. Place skillet uncovered in the oven and braise for 30–40 minutes until bratwursts reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.
