- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In your preheated skillet, add a splash of olive oil and a pat of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add sliced onions and diced apples. Sauté for 20–25 minutes until golden.
 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
 - Nestle the bratwursts on top of the apple-onion mixture.
 - In a bowl, whisk together beer, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Pour over bratwursts and season with salt and pepper.
 - Bring mixture to a gentle simmer on the stovetop.
 - Place skillet uncovered in the oven and braise for 30–40 minutes until bratwursts reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
 - Remove from oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.
