Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Peach Puff Pastry
- Drain the canned peach slices thoroughly to prevent sogginess. In a bowl, mix with cornstarch, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into four rectangles, approximately 4x6 inches each.
- Spoon filling onto half of each rectangle, fold over, and press to seal. Crimp edges with a fork.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Whisk egg with water for the wash and brush it over the pastries.
