Baking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add vanilla extract and mix until blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the mashed bananas and chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
