For the Filling
  • 12 oz Thinly Sliced Steak Ribeye or sirloin preferred
  • 8 oz Provolone Cheese or substitute with mozzarella blend
  • 1 cup Caramelized Onions Vidalia or yellow onions are ideal
  • 1 cup Green Peppers optional; can substitute with mushrooms or jalapeños
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter for the sauce
  • 2 tbsp Flour for the roux
  • 1 cup Milk for the sauce
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese for the sauce

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Saucepan
  • Pizza stone or baking sheet

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook thinly sliced onions until caramelized, about 10–15 minutes.
  3. Increase the heat to high and sear the thinly sliced steak in the same skillet for about 3–5 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Stir in Parmesan.
  5. Spread the garlic white sauce over the dough, layer with sautéed vegetables, steak, and provolone cheese.
  6. Bake the assembled pizza for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let it cool a couple of minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.

Notes

For best results, pre-cook the steak and ensure a preheated oven for a crispy crust. Fresh herbs can enhance flavor.
