- Stir in freshly squeezed lime juice and lime zest into the cooled syrup. Mix in a splash of corn syrup if desired for a smoother texture.
- Refrigerate the lime mixture for about 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
- Pour mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and place in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes for about 3-4 hours until fluffy.
- Once frozen, serve in bowls or cups, garnished with fresh mint leaves or lime slices if desired.
