Preparation Steps

  2. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Sear the Patties: Heat olive oil and butter in a nonstick skillet. Sear patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Sauté Onions and Garlic: In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic on medium-low heat until fragrant.
  5. Add Seasoning and Flour: Add salt, black pepper, and flour, stirring well.
  6. Pour in the Chicken Broth: Gradually add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Create the Creamy Dill Sauce: Add heavy cream and chopped dill, simmer until thickened to desired consistency.
  8. Combine and Simmer: Return patties to skillet, simmer for 5-6 minutes on low heat.
