  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded, can substitute provolone or gouda
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese optional, grated
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil substitute with oregano or parsley if preferred

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C), ideally with a pizza stone inside.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it rest.
  3. Spread the Calabrian chili paste over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Layer the roasted red peppers evenly over the chili paste.
  5. Scatter the mozzarella cheese generously on top of the peppers, adding grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
  6. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and add fresh basil before slicing into wedges.
