Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Combine the cooked beef with the mushroom soup and onion soup mix in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  4. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the beef mixture in, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving over rice or mashed potatoes, with optional cheese on top.

Notes

For a thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with water before adding to beef mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
