  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Skillet
  • Paper Towels
  • Platter

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper to create a marinade. Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the beef bacon strips, cooking until they are crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the crispy bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and leave a tablespoon of drippings in the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, increase the heat to medium-high, then add the marinated chicken breasts, cooking for 5-7 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and toast them cut-side down in the skillet for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing arugula on each toasted bun, topped with glazed chicken and a slice of crispy beef bacon. Crown with the top bun.
  6. Arrange the assembled sliders on a platter, drizzle with extra maple syrup, and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes. Keep an eye on bacon to prevent burning. Consider serving with a dipping sauce for extra flavor.
