  • 1 cup Basil Leaves Torn
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Tamari Low Sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup Optional: use honey
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Optional: crispy fried onions

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Steam the frozen gyoza dumplings according to the package instructions for about 6-8 minutes. Once cooked, drizzle with sesame oil and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together tamari, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup to create the dressing, then pour over the cooked dumplings.
  3. Chop heirloom tomatoes, slice cucumber and scallions, and add to the bowl with the dumplings, mixing gently.
  4. Tear basil leaves over the salad, adding sesame seeds or crispy onions for garnish.
  5. Serve in bowls, ensuring everyone gets a mix of dumplings, fresh vegetables, and dressing.
