Preparation Steps
  1. Place 12 frozen dinner rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature for about 20 minutes until they soften and expand.
  2. Whisk together eggs, cream, onion powder (if using), salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Cook in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, stirring gently until set. Fold in the defrosted breakfast sausage.
  3. Flatten each risen roll into a 3-inch circle, place half a slice of cheddar cheese, and about 2 tablespoons of the egg and sausage mixture in the center. Pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Dip tops of kolaches in everything bagel seasoning, arrange back on the baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
