- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together ¾ cup of softened butter and ½ cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract and mix on low speed until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 ⅓ cups of all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ⅛ teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter and sugar, mixing until no dry flour is visible.
- Gently fold in ½ cup of blackberries and ½ cup of chocolate chips into the dough.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop out the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the sheets from the oven and let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
