Ingredients
  

  • 2 packs ramen noodles discard seasoning packet
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for spice
  • 4 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce optional
  • 1 ear corn cut into rounds
  • 1 small red potato diced
  • ½ lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb crab legs or substitute with mussels/clams
  • ¼ cup heavy cream optional for richness
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Sauté the Garlic & Spices: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Build the Broth: Pour in the seafood broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook the Vegetables: Add the diced potato and corn rounds. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the Seafood: Drop in the shrimp and crab legs (or mussels/clams). Simmer for another 5-7 minutes, just until the shrimp turns pink and the crab is heated through.
  5. Cook the Noodles: Add the ramen noodles directly into the pot and cook according to package instructions (usually 2-3 minutes). If using cream, stir it in at this stage for a richer broth.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat and divide into bowls. Garnish with green onions, parsley, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Enjoy immediately!
