  • 1 cup Cheese Mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Traditional or gluten-free
  • 1 large Egg Binds the mixture
  • 1/2 cup Onion Finely grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasonings Oregano and basil
For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Spaghetti Or your favorite pasta shape
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Jarred or homemade

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, finely grated onion, and Italian seasonings. Mix until incorporated.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and stuff with cheese.
  4. Bake meatballs for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and keep warm.
  6. Heat marinara sauce in a separate pot over medium-low heat for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Layer spaghetti on plates, top with marinara sauce, and add meatballs.

Notes

These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen before baking for convenience.
