Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your chocolate cupcakes using your favorite recipe or a box mix.
  2. Fill cupcake liners in a muffin tin about two-thirds full and bake for 18–20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  3. Let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
  4. While the cupcakes cool, whip together your chocolate fudge frosting until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. Spread a dollop of frosting on the flat side of each upside-down cookie and insert a piece of candy corn to create witch hats.
  6. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the chocolate frosting, creating a nice swirl.
  7. Gently place the assembled witch hats on top of each frosted cupcake, pressing down gently.
