- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your chocolate cupcakes using your favorite recipe or a box mix.
- Fill cupcake liners in a muffin tin about two-thirds full and bake for 18–20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
- While the cupcakes cool, whip together your chocolate fudge frosting until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Spread a dollop of frosting on the flat side of each upside-down cookie and insert a piece of candy corn to create witch hats.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes with the chocolate frosting, creating a nice swirl.
- Gently place the assembled witch hats on top of each frosted cupcake, pressing down gently.
