Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time to the mixture, blending well after each addition.
  4. Divide the dough into two bowls; mix cocoa powder into one for chocolate dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of both vanilla and chocolate dough onto the baking sheet, alternating them. Swirl with a toothpick.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
