- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time to the mixture, blending well after each addition.
- Divide the dough into two bowls; mix cocoa powder into one for chocolate dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of both vanilla and chocolate dough onto the baking sheet, alternating them. Swirl with a toothpick.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
