  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Sliced Pepperoncini Peppers pickled or fresh
  • 2 tbsp Pepperoncini Juice adjust for acidity
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
For the Bagel Chips
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Additional Seasonings (Garlic Powder, Dried Oregano, Kosher Salt)

Method
 

Prepare the Bagel Chips
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the bagels in half and slice them into 1-inch wedges. Combine the bagel pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
Bake the Chips
  1. Spread the seasoned bagel wedges on a lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 15 minutes, tossing halfway through. Remove when golden-brown and let cool completely.
Make the Dip
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sliced pepperoncini peppers, and their juice. Add garlic powder and dried oregano, season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Chill the Dip
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving container, cover it, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Serve
  1. Serve the creamy Pepperoncini Dip alongside the crispy homemade bagel chips. Additional fresh veggies can be offered.
