- 1/2 cup red onion, minced
- 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced onions and sauté until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
- Stir in chopped parsley and garlic, mixing well.
- Add lemon juice and red pepper flakes, followed by chicken stock.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and heavy cream, letting it simmer for a minute. Turn off the heat and allow the sauce to cool slightly.
