Ingredients

  • 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 28 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese divided

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Make Cheese Mixture: Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Assemble Layers:
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the baking dish.
  6. Add half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer.
  7. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella over the cheese mixture.
  9. Repeat layers, finishing with the remaining mozzarella.
  10. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Cool and Serve: Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or Parmesan, if desired.
