Bacon Crackers: The Ultimate Sweet and Savory Party Snack

These Crispy Bacon Bliss Crackers are the ultimate combination of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors. With caramelized brown sugar, crispy bacon, and a hint of heat, they make the perfect snack for parties, game nights, or whenever you’re craving something deliciously addictive.

  • Club Crackers (about 36, or any buttery cracker like Ritz or Townhouse)
  • 1 pound bacon, cut into thirds
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire cooling rack on top.
  2. Assemble – Arrange crackers in a single layer on the rack. Top each cracker with a piece of bacon.
  3. Add Flavor – Evenly sprinkle about a teaspoon of brown sugar over each cracker, followed by a pinch of cayenne and black pepper.
  4. Bake – Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the sugar has caramelized.
  5. Cool & Serve – Let them cool completely before serving to allow the sugar to harden.

Notes

  • Use Scissors – Cutting bacon with scissors makes prep much easier.
  • Thin Bacon Works Best – Thick-cut bacon takes too long to crisp and may burn the crackers.
  • Add Extra Heat – For a spicy twist, top each cracker with a thin slice of jalapeño before baking.
